Transformations of The Urban Space’s Concept Due to Covid-19 Pandemic

The paper presented a new concept of urban space, which the research called: (preventive health space), through a literary review to study the relationship between the effects of epidemics and their impact on transformations in the concept of urban space, in addition to studying the most important strategies of cities that have proven effective in dealing with the global epidemic, to guide the future. Research has been used the inductive method to interpreting the phenomena and problems presented to previous in the same field, vocabularies have been derived from them to measure the transformation in the post-pandemic urban space and in a disciplined manner, the paper reached a comprehensive theoretical framework and a model that illustrates the most important planning characteristics of the new urban space that appeared. And the birth of s space in which the requirements of a healthy environment are met to prevent and control the spread of epidemics, which is what the research called (the preventive health space.
